We’re a video game development studio and publisher based in Edinburgh, Scotland, and are proudly independent. We are the creators of the multi-award winning Astroneer, the huge and evolving No Man’s Sky and a few other big hits. When we’re not doing that, we’re probably working on something new.
We believe that small talented teams can achieve great things. As a team of four in a tiny room above a tile shop, we created the multi million selling Astronner. As a dozen developers in a leaking shed, we borrowed our neighbours internet and created one of the biggest selling new IPs in video games – No Man’s Sky.
We’ve got a dead nice office now, so it's probably all downhill from here.
The people of Zapp are a varied bunch, but there’s a few things they have in common. Generally they’re humble, they have potential, and the grit to try to do their best work here.
